Looking for a Test Lead role where you will have ongoing L&D opportunities as well as a structured roadmap in terms of progression? IntaPeople are delighted to be partnered with a fintech to scale up the professional services team as they set to revolutionise the lending market.
Based in the heart of Cardiff, they are a thriving fintech creating asset management and equipment finance software for a range of multinational clients; their software is well proven all over Europe.

About the role:
- This is a lead role that is split 50/50 between hands on testing and leading a team, coaching and mentoring juniors and getting the best out of the team.
- We’re looking for someone who will drive best practice and the adoption of automated testing.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, with experience of driving a team to implement automation frameworks using Cucumber as well as a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- As a new team, you will collaborate with other teams to gain a good understanding of impact on the application.
About You:
- You’re a people person and you love getting the best from your team. You set goals, look at areas to improve and help them achieve their career goals.
- Coming from a cross functional team background within an Agile environment, you will have a good understanding of the SDLC.
- Although you may not have hands on experience with Java/JavaScript or configuration tools such as Git or Bitbucket; you will have exposure and a basic understanding.
- Communication skills are key for this role as you will report progress including the risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
