Data Architect

A forward-thinking technology company working with major global brands are entering a period of growth within their new office location in Llandysul… They are currently seeking an experienced Data Architect to play a crucial role in designing and managing their data infrastructure.

You’ll leverage your technical expertise and join a supportive, open and collaborative environment with a culture of learning, who are not afraid of making mistakes and thinking outside of the box.

You’ll develop innovative solutions and transform complex data into meaningful insight, using your experience in data modelling, database design, and data governance. You will spend time collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements to translate them into data architecture solutions. You’ll implement data governance practice, and the role will involve creating/maintaining data architecture blueprints, implementing data migration strategies, and optimising data management processes.

Experience required

• At least 3 Years Data Architect experience/similar
• ​​​​Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and metadata management
• Experience with ETL pipelines, database design principles, data visualisation tools e.g., Power BI
• Cloud-based technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure/Cosmos)
• Knowledge of data governance and modern concepts e.g., data mesh and data lake houses
• Knowledge of data science and ML platforms e.g., Databricks, Vertex, Fabric
   

​ Applicants must be within commutable distance of Llandysul for 3 days a week working in office (working 2 days a week at home) and must have the right to work in UK as we do not offer sponsorship.
