Job description
IntaPeople are helping an innovative London tech company looking to expand their Field Support team with an experienced Field Support Engineer on a permanent basis. This position would give you the opportunity to collaborate with likeminded individuals ensuring that the companies customers are provided with all their onsite IT needs with the exposure to the latest technologies.
As a Field Support Engineer, you must have a strong understanding of IT systems and technologies with the ability to support a wide range of customers providing excellent IT support whilst providing training to customers as and when required.
About the role…
- Provide technical support to other IT staff members such as answering questions and providing training.
- Building strong working relationships with the clients as well as providing high quality customer service.
- Provide on site and remote IT support to the client’s customers through a set schedule, site visits are booked in advance.
- Ensuring to keep updated records and update all documentation when necessary.
- Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software.
- Providing training to new customers ensuring they understand how to fully use their IT systems confidently.
- Installing and configuring new equipment.
About you…
- Proven IT industry background.
- Experience configuring and supporting Cloud Products such as Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies – such as Hyper-V, VMware and Citrix.
- Passionate about helping others and ensuring a high level of customer service is provided.
- Experience of networking, vLANS, VPN’s, firewalls and connectivity.
