1. What sort of duties do you have at work? Except for the usual recruitment goddess duties, I’m nominated social sec, conversation starter, entertainer, recycling officer and general nosey parker

2. What’s the best concert you’ve been to? Well, it’s gotta be the big one…Glastonbury!! Is there a better place on earth??

3. Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams? So I’m a fairly new fan to F1 but I’m pretty obsessed. McLaren is my chosen team (Lando is my fav driver) though I do have a soft spot for Charles Leclerc ❤

4. Are you a morning person or a night owl? I’m neither, I come alive in the afternoon 2-4 is where I find I’m most productive. That goes for work, exercise, cleaning, everything. I’m a middle of the day person

5. What’s your idea of a perfect day? Waking up in my camper van, parked up next to the sea, sun shining, kettle on and a beautiful day of paddleboarding and sunbathing ahead of me. Finished off with a BBQ on the beach, burgers, a full block of halloumi, some veggies with a few drinks. Bliss!

6. Why would you recommend anyone joining IntaPeople? You’re encouraged to be your own kind of recruiter. You have the freedom to manage your own time, but the guidance is there if you need it. The team make Intapeople a great place to work. Everyone is working towards the same goal, don’t get me wrong, there’s a healthy amount of internal competition but we work together. If one of us succeeds, we all succeed and then we celebrate!

1. What was your first paying job?

My first official paying job was working in my local garden centre. Who wouldn’t love watering plants and delivering Christmas trees every December? And for a cool £2.55 per hour in a brown envelope at the end of the day!

2. What’s the best place you’ve travelled to & why?

I’m extremely lucky to have travelled to many incredible places throughout the world from the Caribbean, Greece, Dubai or the US, but for me the lasting impression has to be the Maldives. I’m a huge ocean wild life lover and combined with turquoise waters, pink sand and incredible people it was the perfect retreat.

3. Where did you work before this position?

Before joining IntaPeople, I spent nearly 10 years working in retail at ‘Pets at Home’. I started on a 16hour weekend contract and worked my way up to store management. I absolutely loved the buzz of a busy store and being paid to work with animals on a daily basis seemed a fair deal?

4. What’s your favourite food?

I’m an absolute foodie, and I am definitely that person who looks at the menu before arriving at the restaurant. But for me Pizza is life (although I’m 100% with the Italians, pineapple is not a topping!)

5. Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

Many people are surprised to find out I’m a keen baker. Something I’ve always loved from a child but when Covid/Lockdown kicked in, I spent most of my time perfecting receipes and bakes. I even applied for ‘The Great British Bake off’ and got fairly far down the application process.

6. What attracted you to IntaPeople?

I’d spent over a decade working in retail and having started a family, I found the work life balance on the weekends no good anymore. I wanted a Monday-Friday career and I had looked into recruitment. IntaPeople stood out for me for their long serving reputation in Wales, honest and transparent approach and high rewarding culture.

1. What was your first paying job? I did the accounts for my Aunts catering business in the loft of a very hot warehouse

2. What’s the best concert you’ve been to? Has to be Glastonbury 2023, the weather was amazing!

3. What’s the best place you’ve travelled to & why? I would say probably Bali, some amazing places there, the food is amazing and costs a few pence a meal (or at least it did at the time)

4. What is your favourite animal? My border collie, Denis. He’s not all there.

5. Do I like rollercoasters? No I don’t, which made for a very dull holiday in Florida looking after my family’s backpacks.

We asked Jon why he decided to join IntaPeople and he said “I’ve always been impressed with IntaPeople’s approach to recruitment. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been very honest, transparent and values driven, which really resonates with how I like to work.  There’s also a really clear vision, that’s what excites me most and I’m delighted to be part of it

1. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A night owl. I certainly need some time in the morning to “de-frost” as we all do.

2. Are you a coffee or tea person?

Tea. If we are getting into the details, specifically the M&S Shortbread tea.

3.What show are you currently binge-watching?

Modern Family is my go-to binge watch.

4.What’s a skill you’d like to improve on?

I would like to continue to improve my ability to speak German.

5. If you could have a career in anything, what would it be?

I would have loved to work in the banking sector, potentially as a financial advisor and work my way up.

6. What’s your favourite season?

Autumn for sure.

1. What was your first paying job? I worked the deli counter of a South African shop, afterschool and weekends for £3.50 an hour

2. Can you speak more than one language? I am natively from Mallorca but have an English mother, therefore I can speak Spanish, Catalan, and English. I also used to be able to speak French but haven’t done so in years, so I am a bit rusty

3. What’s the best concert you’ve been to? Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn at Concorde 2 in Brighton was incredible.

4. What’s your favourite movie? Snatch, and pretty much anything else directed by Guy Ritchie

5. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Definitely an extrovert, can’t stand being on my own

6. What do you like most about working for IntaPeople? The rest of the staff and the absolute VIBEZ
