Job description

IntaPeople are working with a fast growing and highly technical manufacturer in South Wales, who are looking for a Technical Project Coordinator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Site Services & Project Manager, this is an active role delivering critical business improvement projects site wide. With a wide range of varying projects (from cleanroom expansion projects through to individual tool installation programs & facilities infrastructure upgrades), this role is perfect for an experienced candidate who enjoys variation in their day-to-day role. 


Job Description:

  • Develop plans for factory tool installations, upgrades, and construction projects.
  • Ensure accuracy of design information and preparation for approval by FCRB
  • Work with CAD design engineers to enable accurate drawings
  • Manage teams to ensure priority conflicts are resolved.
  • Supervise on site contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Manage health and safety requirements.
  • Track Performance to Schedule (PTS) and spend variance minimising VO’s


Requirements Education and Experience:


  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Microsoft Project qualification.
  • CAD skills.
  • NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • ILM or CMI Level 3 in supervision/ management.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a facilities/ project environment.


Other Qualifications:


  • Strong engineering background.
  • Project management experience including scheduling and cost tracking techniques.
  • Understanding of protocol working in a cleanroom and UHP systems.
  • Experience of central facilities plant and equipment.
  • Knowledge of the CDM regulations.
  • Experience of plant & equipment decommissioning.
