Senior Consultant – South Wales - £70,000 - £75,000 & benefits

Mainly home working with occasional office and client site visits in South Wales

We are exclusively working with an exciting, growing consultancy who are urgently seeking a Senior Consultant to act as the face of the business to their clients across South Wales.  They work in digital transformation and have a start-up feel with a great team who want to continue their growth to be the best in the business.

The team is very experienced in digital transformation, solution development and service management. The senior team come from the highest profile roles across public and private sectors with real hands-on experience of delivering some of the largest, most complex projects of the last decade.

We’re looking for someone who can:

Act as a trusted digital partner to improve outcomes for our clients (essential)

Adopt a start-up mentality, work collaboratively, and help drive growth (essential)

Build a pipeline of opportunity, win and deliver projects (desirable)

The main areas of responsibility would include:

 

Develop requirements, the case for change and business cases to support transformation programmes, managing CCNs accordingly.

Conduct knowledge transfer to upskill clients and create an enduring capability in critical areas of expertise.

Ensure future services are ambitious, realistic and transformational by providing ongoing challenge, support and guidance to client teams across the services, product, technology, data and commercial leadership teams to unlock business and customer benefits.

Identify and manage RAIDDs to ensure siloed teams are aligned to deliver common outcomes.

Support the development of target and transitional operating model for transformed services.

Hold the 3rd party suppliers to account against contractual arrangements, provide ad-hoc escalation and support to ensure supplier ecosystems are managed effectively.


As part of this role your time will initially be dedicated to one main “on site” public sector client in South Wales. However, it will be split between other work and projects as they come in.
