About you…
You will have an inquisitive nature and enjoy solving problems, you’ll be able to identify pragmatic and efficient solutions to deliver the highest quality product. Organisational and communication skills are essential as you will be managing a team of 17-20 as well as being responsible for planning.

With a background in managing Software Development teams (whether in a tech lead or Development Manager role), you’ll have worked with modern products such as Java, Go and AWS. Experience in leading an Agile transformation is beneficial, as is experience in a DevOps environment with frequent production code changes.

About the role…
Alongside the senior team you will lead a number of agile squads focused on the development of new product lines as well as the companies agile transformation, advising what tech to use to make things work better/faster etc. You will drive improvements in QA automation, DevOps practices, code quality, agile methodologies and by whatever other means you feel is going to help us create better products, faster.

The technology / experience needed…
LDMS are undergoing an Agile Transformation, they’re currently in a mix of Scrum and Kanban and working in a TDD environment so we’re looking for someone who likes to get involved and champion Agile principles and processes. The focus is on automation and quality, you’ll lead by example by writing clean, efficient code; coaching and mentoring the engineering team and speeding up the time to release software.
