IntaPeople are currently working with fast growing but very established technology focussed client who are based in Swansea. They have operations globally and work with some of the largest financial institutes across the world. Due to a heavy growth strategy and strong client pipeline they now require an experienced Head of Software Development to assist the Chief of Technology in the leadership and direction of the company’s technology estate.

They are backed by a number of international banks and investment firms and have rankings on a number of Fast growth awards for companies to watch present and in the future. Whilst having a strong client base and product offering they also have locations across the UK and Internationally.

Primarily we are looking for an experienced Head of Software Development to report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and other company Directors to help drive their highly technical Development Team, ensuring it remains a highly motivated, high performing function that will delivery against all customer requirements and needs. You would be working in a truly Agile environment where remote working and a healthy work life balance is encouraged.

Skills required:

*Proven track record of managing/leading high performing technology teams (office & remote level)

*The ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure product delivery and development is always high on the agenda

*A strong technology/development focussed background

*Knowledge or experience of DevOps and Cloud architecture

*Excellent knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodologies

*Able to operate at a strategic level whilst also being hands on when acquired

We’re Ideally looking for someone with a background in technologies such as Microsoft .Net, ReactJS, NodeJS, Azure or AWS but most importantly strong management skills would be a leading factor for any candidate. You’ll be a motivational leader within a fast-paced environment and will be tasked to support, coach and develop several sprint teams.

Role overview:

*A competitive salary offering of £70,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)

*Remote working available at a min of 2-3 days per week (before/after COV19)
