IntaPeople currently require an experienced Web Developer to join an established professional services company in Cardiff. You’ll build and design internal web applications within a small Agile Scrum team.

Their focus is on exploring and developing new technology choices and data sources that will further increase the company’s capabilities in the machine learning space.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious person, who can think creatively around a brief and challenge, as necessary. You must have a keen interest in web development and be ready to research and learn new techniques that can be applied to the task at hand.

You will be part of a multi-discipline team, challenged with building a cloud data platform, and primarily focus on creating the web applications it will provide. This will include:
• Development of the integration services within our cloud-based platform that serve the web applications
• Development and publication of portals to support our data and analytics teams
• Production of technical and functional specifications where applicable
• You will also be expected to research new ideas and stay up to date with new advancements in the field

Skills and Experience
• Front-end web development experience using HTML, CSS and a JavaScript framework such as Angular, React or Vue.js
• Middle-tier programming experience using Java, Node.js or another object-orientated programming language
• Experience using database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MS SQL
• Understanding of version control systems such as GIT
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor communication across a range of technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in an agile scrum team, using cloud technologies, and with test-automation and CI/CD tools is desirable but not essential
