JavaScript & React Engineer - Mid-Level

  • Reference IP29980-JS
  • Salary £50,000 - £80,000
  • Location London
  • Job type Permanent

IntaPeople are working with a SaaS organisation based in Central London who, after a recent merger with a large US based company last year, are looking to expand their development team further with a couple of Front End focussed engineers. You will be joining a tech-focussed team dedicated to building software to engage their wider audience.

As well as a strong salary, you’ll get a benefits package that consists of a 24 page presentation (so lots of benefits!) along with the ability to have a real say on their development projects moving forward; it’s a flat team structure where your opinions matter. Within the role the successful candidate will be delivering bespoke applications for clients, leading project work to ensure it is delivered efficiently and effectively and be a SME in terms of development across specific projects.

Our client work across 150 countries and their platform is used every day by approximately 20 million users – that’s a lot of traffic, a lot of projects to work on and a big ol’ technology stack that has a really positive impact on people daily. They are focussed on innovation and with the recent acquisition they are looking to scale their team to cope with project demand.

In order to be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with the below skillset;
* Strong JavaScript experience working with ES6.
* Ability to work with React and all its core features; the lifecycle, the context etc
* Experience working with RESTful APIs.
* Knowledge or experience of the Agile SDLC and the ability to work within it.

Ideally if you have experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, Go. Bamboo etc), worked with cloud hosting platforms (ideally AWS) and a good basis for UI/UX that’d be great. If not, these are the types of tools you can gain experience in.

There are a couple of positions available within the team so if you have a couple of years’ experience with React as a library and are looking to expand your knowledge further get in touch. If you’ve been working with it since 2013 and are at the Jordan Walke level then definitely reach out!
