Struggling to find a SysAdmin role with a lot of interesting projects where you can have a real input into the future of their product? IntaPeople are currently helping an organisation based in central London to find a Linux focussed SysAdmin to join their team and help shape the future of their technological stack.

About the company…

• With a real focus on their product, they are a tech focussed team that create solutions to improve the regulation across major banking institutions.
• As well as focussing on their product they take care of their staff, whether that’s with free breakfast / lunches or trips internationally.
About you…
• You have a strong background across Linux, from command lines through to microservices and the ability to work with scripting / programming languages to automate the processes.
• Ability to create, define and maintain technical stacks; from cloud platforms to CI/CD processes.
• You have an inquisitive mindset, not just focussed on keeping technology ticking over but constantly looking at how to improve existing architectures and streamline processes in line with company strategies.

The technology / experience needed…
• A strong background with Linux system administration; RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu – the more flavours you know the better.
• Ability to work with scripting / programming languages such as Bash, Python, Go etc
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack etc) with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and with cloud platforms (ideally AWS – this is a Linux environment after all)
• Ability to work across networking technologies / processes such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, to work with Linux based firewalls (IPTables) and with networking monitoring solutions such as Nagios.
