The company has a number of high-end programmes ongoing and share prices are soaring as a result of recent successful trials. You will be leading the team by example and balancing your own ambition with the strategy of the business.

This is how you will spend your time

• Juggling both early and late stage projects – a must have for those looking to make the eventual step to director level roles
• Working with a range of delivery technologies which ensures no two days are ever the same
• Prioritising resources which will help develop your strategic awareness
• With occasional travel to their manufacturing site, this will reward those who like to see all sides of the process
• Improve your understanding of how an R&D team can effectively influence drug outcomes
• Bringing your own management style in a genuinely hands-on role where science is at the forefront
• You know you are good with people, and you will be explaining your findings to clients in an engaging way
• You will operate independently, giving you the scope you need to deliver on projects with the support and expertise of your team
• Leading formulation and development activities of long-acting preparations of APIs


If you have the following skills we will be excited to talk to you

• A history of working with everything from small molecules and synthetic polymers to recombinant proteins and peptides.
• An excellent understanding of drug development pathways
• Experience of particulate-based depot formulations, suspensions and parenteral drug delivery
• Broad background in preparation and characterisation of pharmaceutical formulations
• A good understanding of analytical techniques and GMP
• Comfortable with FMEA, target specifications and preparation of formulations development strategies

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Hours: Monday - Friday
