IntaPeople are delighted to be partnering with a well-established Service provider in the heart of Cardiff. Due to high product/service demands and a steady growth roadmap for 20/21 we are now resourcing for an experienced Managed Service Lead. You will be responsible for the delivery and leadership of the managed service team and client portfolios.

As the successful Managed Service Lead, you will be a self-starter who wants to grow personally with long term career ambitions in mind. You’ll be highly coachable with a strong business mindset whilst being a problem solver.

Skills and Experience

· Strong experience of leading and managing teams (service desk/software)
· Strong experience or understanding working with an AGILE environment
· Excellent understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Configuration Management, Problem, Knowledge, Asset and Event Management.
· Release Management experience
· DBS certification or ability to obtain

What you’ll be doing (at a glance):

Whilst working with the senior management team you’ll help define and manage the Service offering to enhance overall user and client experience. We’re looking for someone who has experience splitting between a service delivery and service desk position and has a proven track record for achieving targets.

This position will be highly client facing so you will assist with customer onboarding whilst ensuring development practices are achieved.

Being a Managed Service Lead you will lead and encourage internal training whilst supporting the Head of Resourcing to ensure proper assignment of technical resources to Managed Service activities based on complexity and skill level.

Desirable skills/certifications:

· ITIL Foundation / Intermediate / Expert certified
· IT/Software development experience/knowledge
· Knowledge/experience of AGILE and SCRUM
· SC Clearance
· Public sector organisation experience
