Looking for a Support role with a well-structured career path within the company? We’re working with a fintech company in Cardiff who are looking for a Lending Support Technician to provide enterprise level technical support to their customers via phone, web, email and other support channels as required.

They’re a forward-thinking financial technology start-up who have created a software platform that is used by some if the UK’s biggest names.

About the role:
• Responding to new incidents as per SLA's, ensuring calls are completed in a timely manner with minimum disruption to the operational areas.
• Taking ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Actively managing the call list queue and ensuring continuous focus is made to meet SLA’s.
• Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Completing software deployments to Test and Customer environments.
• Documenting knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
• Liaising with clients and internal colleagues to investigate and troubleshoot problems.
• This position will include weekend work so applicant must be available to work weekends.

About you:
• You’ll have a qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• You’ll have strong problem-solving skills and excellent client-facing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative for this role

These would be nice:
• Knowledge of software application tools such as Jira, Gemini.
• SQL knowledge.
• Microsoft Word knowledge.
• Knowledge of financial services products, specifically loan processing and financial regulations
• Previous shift experience
