Due to continued success and growth this industry leading manufacturer in the Cardiff area currently require an IT Support Technician / 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their team.

The IT Support Technician / 2nd Line Support Analyst will be joining an amazing office / working environment and be helping to support Windows OS’s, Office 365, network and telephony, VoIP / Mobile Device Support and the Service Desk.

Responsibilities:

Provide a friendly desktop support to employees and external clients
Ensure SLA’s (service level agreements) are met and requests delivered/completed to a high level
Support Windows OS’s, Office 365, network and telephony, VoIP / Mobile Device Support and the Service Desk
Daily Infrastructure monitoring
Following ITIL method
Diagnose and resolve minor network issues e.g. LAN access
User Account setup and maintenance
Set-up and configuration of new Desktops, laptops, VoIP Phones, Mobiles and Tablets
Liaise with external support companies, where necessary
Mobile Device and Asset Management, Printer Support and consumable replenishment
Anti-Virus and Windows update monitoring and management and Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software related issues

Experience/Skills:

Good level of education with a relevant degree (computer science or similar) being beneficial
Experienced IT / 1st & 2nd line support / service desk support technician
Windows OS, Voip/mobile device support and printer experience
Knowledge of Office 365 and networking & telephony
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Positive and eager to learn
