IT Service Desk Analyst

Our client based in Worcester is looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Service Desk Analyst to join their team! They are looking for experience with Windows background (Office 365, Server 2003-2016, Windows OS 7-10, Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and ideally Azure and Virtualisation.

The role will be predominantly working within a managed service environment but you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in field projects and migrations. You will be given the chance to improve on your existing skill with subsidised training courses.Day to day, the role will be customer focussed, ensuring that every issue gets resolved quickly and efficiently. It will involve a mix of remote and face to face support for companies. As each customer infrastructure is different it will be a varied role that will allow you to gain exposure with lots of different technologies.

In order to be considered for this position we expect candidates to be able to demonstrate the below skillset;

• Deployment, configuration and maintenance within a Microsoft environment (Windows Server 2003-2016 and Windows 7-10)
• Experience with Active Directory, Office365, Exchange and Group Policy.
• Ability to resolve network incidents within TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS protocols.
• Understanding of network administration with LAN, WAN, Switches, Routers and Firewalls.
• Understanding of cloud and virtualisation technologies: Ideally Azure and HyperV although candidates will be developed in these areas.
