This is a key position within the engineering team, the successful Senior Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer will be a hands-on engineer who will support other engineers within the team on equipment design and integration.

Ideally you should have experience working on semiconductor equipment but strong multi skilled engineers with an excellent understanding of electrical & electronic systems will be considered.

The position may involve some international travel to suppliers or customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Electrical and Electronic system design & integration
Design parts and assemblies
Create & detail 2D drawings
Designing automated semiconductor tools
Analogue & digital circuit design
Interface OEM equipment
Testing/Verification of products/projects
Continuous improvements of products/projects
Documentation; engineering change notes, risk assessments etc.
Fault finding
Preparation of reports of regulatory compliance
Support other departments (manufacturing etc.)

Ideally degree educated in electrical/electronic engineering
Experienced, multi skilled engineer with electrical and electronic design experience
Experience with SolidEgde and/or AutoCad would be beneficial (although other CAD packages will be considered)
5+ years’ experience within a highly regulated environment (experience with semiconductor equipment would be an advantage)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team
