Data Analyst – Swansea - £22,000 - £27,000 (DOE) + benefits

We’re helping scale the data team for a company based near Swansea who are on the lookout for an experienced Data Analyst to work across the whole business in the creation, efficient production and insightful analysis of data

About you…

It would be great if we could find someone who’s interested in statistics and complex data…
Skill set wise, ideally, we’d like to see someone with prior experience in a similar sort of role but overall we’re after someone who’s organised, analytical, motivated and has -

* Experience of working within a large volume operational environment
* Proven understanding of resource planning methodologies and service level dynamics
* Professional experience of H vs V Lookups
* Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Access
* Strong communicator, confident with a flair for building relationships - internally & externally
* Commercially aware with good knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance provisions

What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be working with information from right across the business as well as closely with the Data Science team. This is a high business impact role, operating in a dynamic, data-hungry, exciting environment with the opportunity to make a real difference to the future of the organization.

You will be giving meaningful insight into Management Information and support the business in the creation and production of performance and planning activities by way of structured resource modelling and change analysis.

Responsibilities will be really varied for this role however will include -

* Working closely with internal customers at all levels
* Developing accurate business demand forecasting and resource modelling for multiple work streams, ranging from long-term strategic budget planning down to real time analysis.
* Providing suitable insight & recommendations from MI and identify opportunities to innovate.
* Providing specific analysis in support of business change.
* Ensure outputs are accurate at all times and that production flow is efficient.
* Ensure requests are managed, documented & prioritized appropriately, maintain data governance obligations and perform any other duties as reasonably requested according to the needs of the Company.
