We are working with a specialist software development company who are interested in finding an expert SQL database analyst to help collect data from the system.

You might have worked in a helpdesk role that utilised SQL queries regularly or come from a more traditional Database / Data Analyst type background, either way we'd love to hear from you if you're looking for the next step in your career.

Their current tech stack includes SQL server so any experience with SQL Server Reporting Services would be very advantageous (but not essential). They're adding a number of other databases and currently appraising elastic search, AWS Aurora Serverless, and a number of others.

The data maintenance team is responsible for ensuring the quality of the data going into and coming out of their systems. This is predominantly transferring spreadsheets into SQL server and maintaining/extending the SQL server reports, as well as identifying opportunities to reduce any manual/duplicated work.

The company are currently in the process of building out a new technology focused function which will provide superior business intelligence in the built environment / prop-tech space, comprising of mobile and web based project management, data collection, and a set of back office tools that can maintain and analyse this data.

If you have had a little SQL reporting experience. know what a select statement is and know how data is managed then this is the core of what we need for this role.
