About the company…
Traditionally not known for their technical capabilities our client are completing multiple transformations. The technical teams keep the company at the forefront of technology and as the company scales in projects and size, they have an exciting IT department that are constantly thinking of new ways to improve their functions.

Within the wider security team, they are creating a robust and resilient environment where they can protect internal and external users and have full control over their internal security controls, processes and tech stack. Whilst they have a focus on technical security professionals, they’ve also created a Security Delivery team; assisting with projects, delivering capabilities and supporting the strategy of the business.

About you…
You’ve got a good level of experience working as a BA; assessing each stage of a delivery lifecycle, working closely with PMs to scope strategies against business strategies and being part of a team successfully delivering multiple projects.

You’ve got a strong background capturing initial requirements based on company strategy and then ensuring that they are followed closely throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders as well as technical teams, be able to provide comprehensive reports on your findings and present them to everyone throughout the business confidently.

What you’ll be doing…
You’ll be the liaison between the security delivery team, with wider IT functions and with business support teams throughout the lifecycle; analysing components within each stage to ensure they correlate with the business and security strategies.

You’ll be in a strong position to help mentor more junior BA’s, to lead teams and to take ownership improving the quality of work. You’ll be strong (not confrontational!) in your opinions and be able to challenge the existing status quo. You’ll be confident enough to go against the general consensus if you believe there is a better approach but as always, this is done in a collaborative manner.

What you’ll be doing…
Managing multiple projects (internally and with external 3rd parties) that have cyber security remits within them. You’ll be aiming to deliver projects within time, cost and quality criteria – ensuring that the company strategy is aligned with the needs of the business and helping to drive change.

You’ll be a key member of the cyber security delivery team, getting involved in every stage of the project lifecycle from inception to closure. You will address potential risks within projects and create a strategy with the security team to mitigate these as much as possible. You’ll liaise closely with stakeholders and technical teams; being the bridge between the two conversations to make sure that everyone is moving in the same direction.

What we’re looking for…
* A strong background / experience within business analysis; focussed on a high quality delivery service for each project you’re involved in.
* Experience working within cyber security or the fintech sector with a good level of knowledge in cloud technologies.
* Strong qualifications within business analysis – think Practitioner, IIBA, CCBA etc.

As always, if you’ve got certificates within cyber security this would be really beneficial (Things like
CISM, CISSP, ISO27001, GDPR etc would be good) but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t.
