“The good guys Ethically Hack, remember that, just in case we ever face to face and make contact,
The title held by me, SOC, means what you think you saw, you did not see.
We walk in shadow, move in silence, guard against our computers attacked by violence,
Here come the Security Engineers, Security Engineers, Infrastructure defenders…”

Do you see yourself as the next Agent J? It may not be exactly like Will Smith in Men in Black however you will definitely be defending the world / company infrastructure against malicious activity.

IntaPeople are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join their team and help manage the vulnerabilities within the company; it could be anything from code review to threat modelling to simply teaching employees not to leave their laptop unprotected on a train. Your knowledge sharing will help to improve the security awareness within the company. This is still a very technical role, away from the GRC consultancy, and candidates will need to be able to demonstrate these throughout the interview process.

Within the role, the successful Agent J will be helping to deliver secure solutions across the company working closely with other engineering teams, provide guidance on application designs, conduct threat modelling activities, perform manual code reviews, research into new tools to develop the security infrastructure and be a shining light identifying vulnerability issues.

In order to be considered for this role we need candidates with the below skills;
* Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms and OS.
* Experience of Penetration Testing and vulnerability identification.
* Hands on exposure to various security products (Nmap, Kali, Metasploit etc)
* Experience with web application scanners such as Qualys, Nessus, Tenable, Netsparker etc.
* Good scripting tools with Python, Ruby, Go, Perl, PHP etc.

If you also want some brownie points it would be great if you had certifications in Security+, CEH, GIAC, SSCP, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM etc.

If you think you have the attitude and skills to become the next Agent J in our clients growing security team then get in touch.
