“My anaconda don't, my anaconda don't, my anaconda don't want none unless you got Python, hun.”

Just like Sir Mix-a-lot, I like Big (or small!) Devs and cannot lie, so if you are a Developer with a passion for Python looking to start your career and develop yourself further then this might be the job you are looking for.

I am currently helping a company based in Central London who are looking for a Junior / Graduate Developer, with a good software engineering background (commercially or personal), to join their team and be moulded into a Python wizard. The role will be varied, working on multiple projects and helping them to develop products and services further.

Even though the buzz word with Python at the moment is Machine Learning, sadly this company (at this stage) aren’t able to add this. If successful, you would be developing code for their web applications and improving the functionality of the internal company tools. Their platform is based on AWS and you will get a chance to pick up new technologies and tools on a daily basis.

Our client are looking for candidates with potential rather than being the finished article. As long as you've worked with Python and have a passion to develop further in a growing company then that's all they really require.

The technology stack that our client work with is below, if you have experience with all of this then great news, if not this will give you a good idea of what technology you can be working with;
* Development skills – This position is all about development, programming, coding, software engineering.
* Python experience - this can be commercially or home experience; as long as you can code then that's the main thing.
• Web Technologies and Frameworks; the Front End is built on JavaScript so any experience with this would be great.
• Experience with Linux and Scripting technologies; it could be RedHat, Debian, CentOS with Bash, Perl, PHP whatever you fancy!
• Source code version systems such as GIT.

As mentioned earlier, all we really want is someone who can develop strong, maintainable code with Python; everything else can be taught once you have joined the company.

If you are interested in this role please send a copy of your most recent CV and we will be in touch.
