Java Developer - Cardiff – up to £30,000 DOE

Team fit is key here and we're looking for people who are eager to learn new skills and enjoy developing with the latest technologies. This role is slightly different and will be based in the companies fast-paced digital marketing team.
This position will grow to be an instrumental position in the team working on the implementation and development of a new content platform for the redesign of the company’s website.

Ultimately, we’re looking for good developers keen to learn and progress, if you’re missing one of the things we’re after we’d still recommend getting in touch for a chat as long as you’re keen to learn!!
Our ideal candidate will have experience developing in Java (any Lambada function experience would be great too), coding with JSPs and experience implementing APIS. Any development experience with content management systems would be a big plus as well as any knowledge of IntelliJ.
There’s also plus points for Java developers with component based developed with JDK 1.8 as well as and exposure to implementing Templates, Components, Dialogs and Workflows in the Adobe AEM platform.

The successful candidate will work with multiple products and updates are launched every year, making this a busy and exciting place to work. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with all aspects of the business and responsibilities will include -
* Working with the Front-End developer to build and implement new functionalities to the website that will improve the overall user experience
* Managing the process of launching and maintaining product updates.
* Become the Core Developer for all Adobe (AEM) developments.
