Security Risk Consultant

  • Reference IP27994-JS
  • Salary £50,000 - £60,000
  • Location LONDON
  • Job type Permanent

Tom Cruise, that 80’s (and probably noughties!) icon has taken on some daring roles; however the riskiest role he’s undertaken is of Joel Goodson in Risky Business. He went against all of his instincts and had the diciest night of his life complete with Steuben Glass Eggs and dancing in white pants. Do you think that if he had a Risk Consultant by his side he’d have done the same things or would he have been more cautious?

Well good news if your company has a Tom Cruise lifestyle (I know this is a loose link but I’m going with it!), as IntaPeople are helping their client to look for a Risk Consultant, with a security focus, to join their growing team. Within the role you will be performing security threat assessments, risk analysis audits, policy gap analysis and data leakage surveys for some well-established clients. You will liaise with clients on a daily basis, engage with stakeholders, take a microscope into their environment and advise on how they can become more secure.

On a daily basis you will be conducting GRC audits, writing information security policies / procedures, helping clients with information security risk management issues and helping your colleagues to design and implement security programmes. Yes the role is fully focussed on GRC, so expect to hear lots of talk about ISO, GDPR, DPA, PCI however with multiple clients it will be a varied role where you can really develop your skills further.

Our ideal candidate (Tom Cruise’s sidekick if you will!) would ideally have experience in the below skills;
* Knowledge and experience working with ISO, PCI DSS, DPA and GDPR accreditations, frameworks and processes.
* Experience administering Data Leakage, Risk Analysis, Security Threats and Policy Gap audits / analysis.
* An understanding of COBRA and current risk management tools.
* The ability to engage with stakeholders, to work under pressure, to complete reports and documentations, to communicate well with everyone you meet and to be an excellent team player.

If you have all of the above skills that would be great, if you don’t but are looking for the next step in your career feel free to reach out.
