PHP Developer – Work from home / South Wales – up to £45,000 DOE
Do you consider yourself similar to Bruce Wayne? We don't mean a vigilante stopping jokers in their stride but more if you like sometimes going into the office to engage with people and sometimes staying at home, hidden in your cave tinkering away with cool tech projects! If so then this might be the role for you…

We’re looking for a PHP developer to join a small team and really work towards making a difference. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of the company, by continuously developing systems to accommodate for increasing requirements across the board.

Above all, as a PHP developer joining this team you will need to have a high aptitude and drive, as well as an ability to work effectively in a team. Aside for commercial experience developing in PHP, we’re looking for core skills including -
* CakePHP (Or similar and the willingness to learn) and MVC, ideally on a LINUX platform.
* HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery), JSON, MySQL, Git and Lamp.
* Being comfortable working in a small team on secure high performance web applications
* The ability to work independently, unsupervised and under pressure in a fast moving environment, dealing with staff at all levels in the organisation through to senior company executives.

Experience of secure web based B2B systems is highly desired as well as an understanding of Ruby on Rails and/or angular.js however this is not essential as training will be provided!

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will be supporting a business at the forefront of the internet. Working on projects large and small you will quickly get the opportunity to contribute in this fast-moving environment. The role will be varied but responsibilities will include -
* Accurately identifying technical requirements of staff and clients to provide suitable web application solutions.
* Writing, updating, maintaining and deploying software to handle specific jobs/ tasks.
* Conducting test runs to be sure they will produce the desired information.
* Consulting with managerial / technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems and suggest changes.

We’re looking for developers in South Wales who are keen to work from home and don’t mind too much that there’s travel to London (all paid for and initially on a weekly basis).
In short, we’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn and has a passion for development – the company offers a high level of responsibility, a varied role and the chance to play a significant part in the next phase of the development of the internet!
