A client of IntaPeople have recently launched a new product offering and are looking for talented Data Engineers / Data Scientists to implement the solution into new companies. There are two positions available to help grow the team, so we are looking to speak to candidates with a good strong commercial background, and others who are looking to grow and further develop in their career.

As part of the role, the successful candidate will be designing analytical strategies for customers, deploying them into their organisation and then developing ETL pipelines to support the customer cases. You will be working with a larger Data Science team, constantly driving the capabilities of the analytic platform. This is an exciting role within a growing company where you will be constantly faced with new challenges and help to shape the structure of companies moving forward. The role will be customer facing; supporting data ingestion, analytic configuration and training customers.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skillset and technological knowledge;
• Experience conducting data analysis and visual communication of analytical results.
• Experience with the ETL pipeline; cleaning, transforming and ingesting data streams.
• Experience writing modular and reusable code with Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot (ideally with scripting) application errors in Linux / UNIX environments.

As well as the above it would be beneficial for candidates to have the following skills;
• MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other technical fields
• Experience with Apache NiFi for managing large-scale ETL tasks.
• Integration experience with data stores (Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Splunk, ArcSight, Cloudera etc)

In order to apply for this position please email a copy of your most recent CV or call Nathan Handley on 02920 252500 for a discrete conversation regarding the role. If you don’t have all of the above skills, don’t worry but in order to be successful you will need to demonstrate a good amount of them, as well as an aptitude to develop in a growing company.
