Telephony Technical Analyst - Cardiff

£200-250 p/day

We are working closely with a well-known (non public sector) company who are urgently seeking a Telephony Network focussed Technical Analyst who can help with BAU work while another team member is working on a project.

This one is heavily focused around 3rd line level technical support within an Alcatel and Cisco VOIP environment. If you have a good background in telecoms support and are available soon we'd really love to hear from you.

The specific technical environment is:

Alcatel Telephony: Alcatel IP Telephony, ISDN / SIP trunks, Alcatel System Administration and Reporting

Vone-C: IP Telephony principles, Ethernet cabling (structured cabling, PoE, Cat6, etc), CUCDM and Configuring Cisco voice gateways (VG202X).

They also have Genesys VCP5, CIM, Reporting, WFM and Inbound / Outbound as well as NICE IP Recording / Reporting etc but the Alcatel and Cisco VoIP experience is the most important.

You'll be managing and supporting a wide range of contact centre technologies and investigating and resolving incidents and problems in a timely manner and ensuring incidents are fully documented within the relevant reporting systems.
Experience within large data-centre infrastructure environments, architecture and service provision would be the ideal environments to have worked in before.

You'll be based mainly in the Cardiff / Newport area but there will also be occasional expensed travel to other offices in South Wales.

We feel this role should be commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Cwmbran, Rhondda, Merthyr, Barry, Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea.
