Infrastructure Support Specialist
30,000 - 35,000 + benefits + bonus
An exciting new position has come in where our client is looking for the following skills:
• Demonstrable complex 3rd/4th line troubleshooting and problem management experience from within a high availability, mission critical and customer focussed environment. • Excellent high level Microsoft 2003/8 enterprise server Active Directory troubleshooting skills required. • Good SQL 2005/2008 sysadmin/troubleshooting experience • Good knowledge of TCP/IP • Good written and clear verbal communication skills • Preference given to candidates who have in-depth troubleshooting of IIS 6.0 / 7.0 and/or Microsoft Clustering
• Desirable but not essential skills: VMware ESX, Exchange 2003/2007, Cisco experience (IOS/PIX/CSS), SAN/NAS knowledge, ITIL knowledge. • Technical certifications a distinct advantage (MCP, MCSE, HP, CISCO) • Have knowledge of appropriate technologies, configurations, and hardware components that are required for supporting a highly available physical network • Experience of documenting procedures and knowledge base documents • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of ITIL and its function within IT • Understanding of NAS and SAN technology desirable
