Production Engineer Up to £40,000 (D.O.E) Fantastic Package Surrey

A reputable and longstanding Pharmaceutical client of ours is looking to expand their team for a Production Engineer. Globally renowned with a multinational footprint our client is keen for an experienced Production Engineer to join the manufacturing division in Surrey.

The purpose of the role is to provide technical engineering support for the setup and ongoing manufacturing of a drug/device product. Including creating, documenting, developing and implementing procedures required to assemble, test, process and manufacture a drug/device product whilst adhering to all safety, quality and customer requirements.

Reporting into the Production Manager your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to; - Supporting the development of a new manufacturing /assembly facility to cGMP standards. - Co-ordination of installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment - Lead commissioning and validation activities - Ensure that manufacturing controls are in place for new production areas and new products - Develop, evaluate, improve and document lean manufacturing processes - Develop, implement and improve standard operating procedures for new production areas To apply for this position, the successful Production Engineer will have an Engineering qualification such as degree or the equivalent in related engineering or technology field, be able to demonstrate experience within Production/Manufacturing, and have worked in complex multi part manufacturing environments. You will have a thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of working to Pharmaceutical GMP, including extensive validation experience. Those candidates applying with Mechanical and/or aerosol technology experience is advantageous but not essential.
