Test Team Lead Up to £50k D.O.E + Package Surrey

Our market leading client our looking for a Test Team Lead to join their expanding team To identify software defects and inconsistencies in functionality against defined requirements and performance measures on various Enterprise Java Back Office Systems, and to progress and verify their correction.

Key responsibilities include but won’t be limited to • Interpret and understand project requirements • Validate system specifications • Verify system implementation • Have good understanding of the various systems as a whole • Have a full working understanding of various Enterprise Java systems running on Unix against an Oracle RDBMS. • Quickly assimilate changes to the system design • Assess, understand and report the broader impact of proposed system changes • Prepare detailed test plans

Experience; • Minimum of 5 years within a Product test environment • Extensive experience of preparing detailed test plans at Unit, Integration and Formal test levels • Extensive experience with PLQL and Oracle Databases • Working knowledge of the Unix operating system. • Working knowledge of application server environments, preferably Java (Weblogic, JBOSS, WebSphere). • Working knowledge of Quality Center • Experience in Unix Shell-Scripting would be an advantage
