Job Title: Data Centre Operator Job Type: Contract Start date: Immediate Location: Hanover, Germany Rate: Circa €30 per hour Length: 12 Months Language: German B2 proficient

About Intapeople are working with a managed service organisation, providing data centre operational support to major global corporate clients. We are looking for a data centre professional to join an existing team covering support of clients data centre activities.

Responsibilities

- Manage the media and asset base of the customers IT systems. - Loading tapes within agreed SLA’s - Answering telephones on helpdesk - Supervise machines/servers/terminals. - Change storage tapes - Install servers/load racks - Troubleshoot

Requirements

- 2 years Data Centre operations experience - Fluent German speaking - Flexible and responsive to business demands. - Able to work unsupervised and to follow shift work-sheet. - Personable with good communication skills - Able to work unsupervised and to follow shift work-sheet. - Ideally CCNA certified
