Overview.
Our Client is a major force within the Finance related marketplace and as part of the controlled expansion plans they are now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a high calibre Compliance Executive (advisory).
The Role • Reporting to the Compliance Manager the successful individual will ensure that the Group remains compliant with all relevant regulations, FSA rules, guidance and principles. • Monitor regulatory fins and other market initiatives to ensure that the Group practices and processes are not exposed to any potential weaknesses. • Deliver and implement operational and regulatory projects across the compliance and business. • Work alongside colleagues across the Group providing ongoing advice and guidance. • In conjunction with the Compliance manager assist in Establish visibility, credibility and strong working relationship across the Group. • Assist in the development of training • Continually monitor and interpret legislation, regulations, rules and guidance. • Identify and investigate issues or trends and propose any necessary actions to promote business improvement. The Person • 3 years experience in a financial services regulatory environment. • Good understanding of Compliance • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to assess business risk and implement mitigating actions. • The successful applicant will have detailed knowledge of FSA, CCA and DPA rules and guidance.
