Linux Systems Engineer / Administrator
£35k per annum plus on-call allowance

We are looking for an experienced Linux all rounder who has solid understanding of Linux Red Hat and/or Centos Servers, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server Databases and Apache IIS Web Servers to work in top digital agency on internal systems, application development and managed hosting environments.
The Linux Systems Engineer will work with other Linux System Engineers and System Administrators in a close knit, high performing team that is responsible for all aspects of keeping this profitable, established company working from an internal IT perspective.
We are looking for hands on ‘techies’ who have built, configured and maintained Linux Servers ideally Centos or Red Hat. Strong database experience is also important for this position and thorough knowledge of MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server is expected. A good working knowledge of Apache web server with general networking and scripting experience would be an added bonus.
You will work with a team of people who make the working environment and day fun and enjoyable, you will learn and improve your skills from industry experts who are highly experienced and certified.
Long term this role will let you grow to become an expert in one of the fields or into Senior System Administrator depending on your career aspirations.
