Software Engineer – Multimedia – Middlesex - £30-40K
Software Engineer with good Java, J2EE, Web Servers and Shell Scripting experience to work within the Research & Development facility of an expanding Multimedia client who is currently at the forefront of technological developments within the industry.
You will be responsible for:
• reviewing, analysing, designing, programming, modifying, developing and implementing software programming applications and software products.
• writing code, complete programming and testing of systems and applications.
• converting product / project specification and procedures to detailed logical flows charts for coding into computer languages.
• working with customers and marketing to develop new or custom features to software products and services
The ideal candidate must have a university degree in Computer Science or related and demonstrate usage of object oriented methodologies, knowledge of database technologies (Oracle and SQL) and have strong leadership and communication skills. Previous experience in a client-facing environment is desirable.
Location:
Based in Middlesex with may require occasional travel to client locations.
