Essential Skills:
• OOAD modeling tools
• Java
• J2EE (JSP Custom Tags, EJB)
• JDBC
• Web Servers (JBOSS)
• J2EE Servlet Containers
• Development Administration for Windows & Linux
• RDM, SQL and PL/SQL (Ideally Oracle)
Desirable:
• Client-side technologies – Javascript, CSS, HTML
• Flash / Actionscript
• Networking Technologies, Switches / Routers – TCP/IP, Multicast, Unicast, RTSP, TFTP
Your role will entail the development full cycle; review, analysis, design, modification, developing and implementing software programming application and software products. Code writing, complete programming and testing of systems and applications. Converting product or project specifications to detailed logical flow charts for coding.
This role may also incorporate working with internal and external customers, project management and training and leading junior staff. You will have excellent communication skills, demonstrate good analytical and problem solving skills and have the confidence to work on a standalone basis as required.
