Due to expansion, one of our most prestigious clients has an immediate requirement for a German or French speaking Mechanical Engineer; candidates must have a strong data centre and critical facilities background.
Candidates are required to have either a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or be a chartered engineer. Accompanied by four to five years data centre or critical facilities experience, heat load program, AutoCAD, system balancing, pipe & duct sizing, equipment selection, commissioning experience. You will perform all work with minimal supervision, and coordinate with a quality assurance/quality control supervisory team, therefore successful candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Engineer large projects, prepare reports and specification and provide a very high level of technical leadership.
- Perform calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design & layout, field investigation and construction administration.
- Apply skills to lead efforts in production of drawings consistent with client requirement using AutoCAD.
- Possess solid knowledge of mechanical codes and standards ISO 9001
- Conduct due diligence reports under supervision of Senior Engineer/Design which will comply with company standards.
- Possess solid knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
- Be a polished professional with client experience; possess knowledge of ROM construction costs.
Good client facing skills is required, with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to listen. Proven problem solving skills, a willingness to travel to conduct field visits, and write field observation reports are essential.
