Cisco Network Engineer
South Wales
£30,000 - £40,000+ & Excellent Package
Intapeople currently have an urgent need for a high caliber Cisco Network Engineer to join an organisation at an extremely exciting time. Candidates will need a wealth of experience of Cisco based products and be certified to at least CCNA level and ideally CCNP.
Candidates should have more than 5 years networking experience and an in-depth understanding of MPLS / VPLS, BGP / EIGRP routing protocols, VLAN infrastructures and IP addressing. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the configuration and support of Cisco Routers, ideally 7600 series and Switches 3500 or 6500 series are highly sought after although others will be considered.
The appointed Cisco Network Engineer will play a crucial and fundamental role in the build of the network platform and the long term support and growth of the operation. It is vital that your CV demonstrates clear leadership and project management skills.

Cisco certifications are essential for the position, candidates must be at least CCNA certified to be considered – CCNP desirable. This client is looking for a committed Network Engineers that is motivated by career progression. In return they offer an outstanding training scheme that will enable successful network engineers to learn new skills, progress through their Cisco certifications and work with the most advanced technologies available.
