Web Developer - South Wales. We have a new requirement for an interim web developer for an interesting company in South Wales,
This role is all about migrating the existing website, microsites and project websites from the existing technology platform to an open source technology platform.
Above all you will really need to have some good experience of using the multi-site version of the WordPress (v2.5 or above) open source content management platform in a commercial environment.
This is an initial 2-3 month role but has a very strong possibility of going permanent so will suit someone who is currently at a loose end but is comfortable with the idea of taking a permanent job in South Wales.

Other skills that are useful include:
Knowledge of the LAMP open source Web technology
Other web technologies such as CSS, XHTML, ASP.net, XML and Javascript
Good database knowledge including SQL Server and MySQL
We feel this role is very easily commutable by car or train from Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Cwmbran, Rhondda, Merthyr, Barry, Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea.
