Senior .NET Programmer / Technical Lead - Wales. Intapeople are working closely with a prolific financial client who is urgently seeking a Senior .NET Analyst Programmer or Technical Lead for a permanent position in Cardiff, South Wales.
In this post you'll be responsible for delivering technology improvements to core Microsoft based IT systems that bring a genuine and integral advantage to the business.
We are really looking for someone who has extensive experience of the Microsoft development platform with very strong knowledge and experience of development with the Microsoft .NET Framework.
A good knowledge of version 3.5 within the .NET framework would be a significant advantage, you will need a good understanding of Object Orientated development and application design patterns as well as strong C# development skills and experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008.
Desirable skills, to give you an idea of the environment include:
Microsoft SQL Server, BizTalk Server, SharePoint Server and CRM Dynamics along with an understanding and appreciation of agile software development techniques.
An Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) qualification is highly desirable, and a background in either retail financial services or a software house environment would be great.
Reporting directly to the Head of IT Delivery, you will be a technical expert in your field. This role does not have any direct reports but there is a requirement to lead the ongoing transfer of technical skills, knowledge and expertise across the development team.
